Larry brings a lifetime of business acumen and experience to NewGate Business Solutions. After serving as Senior Vice President of Sheraton Worldwide, he decided to build his own hotel and restaurant company which soon became one of Central Florida's largest privately held corporations. He owned 84 restaurants and pubs, 10 hotels and many real estate holdings, employing nearly 3,000 people.

Over the course of Larry's hotel career he opened and managed numerous properties from Hawaii to Toronto, to New York City. Mr. Walker's achievements in the hotel business were celebrated by his peers when he received the prestigious worldwide award of 'Hotelier of the Year'.

In 2000 he co-founded NewGate Business Solutions.

Larry has lived in Central Florida for over 22 years, is married to his wife Jan, has two grown sons and three granddaughters.

In addition to Larry's business career and blessed personal life, he is very proud to serve the community in volunteer and board positions. These include:

Chairman of the Valencia College Foundation. Past President and current member of the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of Central Florida. Chairman of the Wellness Committee of the Winter Park YMCA

Larry also serves on the Board of Directors for the Boy Scout Council of Central Florida. He has a love for tennis and is the Chairman of the Member Guest Tennis Tournament at the Winter Park Racquet Club.
